Englewood Christian School (ECS) will be celebrating a SPIRIT week where we emphasize spiritual values and school spirit. A guest speaker, Pastor Eric Hambrock will be leading the children in daily devotions and each day, we will have a fun activity to rev up the students for the last quarter. The descriptions of the daily events are listed below. Also, please see the bottom of this page for ways in which you can also get in on the event and help your student earn rewards.
On Monday, April 19th, ECS will kick off its SPIRIT week with a sidewalk chalk day. Students will be given the chance to create chalk art on the sidewalks in the front and side of the school. They will be encouraged to work in teams, and photos will end up on our school website. Students need an oversized t-shirt to cover their school uniform or an older (modest and non-offensive) shirt to change into. The school will supply the sidewalk chalk.
On Tuesday, April 20th, ECS will continue the week with cookie day. After lunch, students will be given a cookie to decorate with icing and toppings. Pictures will be taken and posted, and cookies will be devoured!

Hats must not be offensive or vulgar and cannot interfere with the student’s ability to work, eat, or move. Hats needs to be removeable for prayer, recess, and opening exercises.
